With the start of the new winter semester, our department is happy to announce that Prof. Stefan Wagner has joined us as Chair of the subject area for Innovation and Technology Management. He has taken on this position after his years at the ESMT in Berlin.

Prof. Wagner did his doctorate studies at the LMU in Munich, and joined the ESMT in Berlin in 2011 as an Assistant Professor, before moving on to the positions of Associate Professor in 2013, and Professor in 2022. His research focuses on innovation processes in companies, patterns of technological progress and industrial property rights.

We are glad to have him become part of our team, and look forward to his contributions both in research and teaching!
