Professor Reitzig joins the incoming editorial team of Strategy Science.

Markus Reitzig, Professor and Subject Area Chair of Strategic Management, joins the incoming editorial team of Strategy Science, INFORM’s leading academic outlet in the field of strategy research, as contributing editor. Professor Reitzig was elected by the new Editor-in-Chief, Professor Todd Zenger from the University of Utah. In his new role, he will – in addition to handling and decisioning manuscripts – be engaged in initiatives aimed at sharpening further the journal’s profile in the innovation and technology space. Strategy Science, founded by former Editor-in-Chief Professor Dan Levinthal from Wharton in 2016, has risen fast in the international journal rankings since its inauguration and aims at firmly establishing itself as the second top-tier outlet in the field. Professor Reitzig is one of only three editors coming from a European University among Strategy Science’s team of seventeen editors working at institutions such as Harvard Business School, INSEAD, New York University, the University of California, the University of Madison of Wisconsin, and the University of Pennsylvania, to name but a few. In addition to his work at Strategy Science, Professor Reitzig will remain a member of the editorial boards of Organization Science and the Strategic Management Journal on which he has served for almost a decade.
